Philip’s belief that all people should have the opportunity to reach their potential, inspired him to co-found Corporations For Community Connections in 2010. Philip retired as IT Purchasing Manager for Siemens Canada, to devote more time to CFCC’s mission. Currently residing with his wife Lori, in Kingsville Canada, he has witnessed the impact of over 3000 refurbished computers, donated by CFCC's corporate partners. Philip envisions the day when access to technology will no longer be an obstacle, rather a medium to realize the full potential of all humanity. In the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes, "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions."



Jan joined CFCC three year's ago in the capacity of CFO. As a long-standing seasonal professor at the University of Toronto and a Director at Huron College, Western University, he has proven he is committed to education. With a passion for philanthropic work, Jan was drawn to CFCC for the value he see's the organization has created and will make in the future. 



As a Senior Legal Counsel for Siemens Canada, Michael has worked with CFCC for five years. With a commitment to CFCC's mission of providing low-income individuals with a tool to better their futures, a computer, he has worked tirelessly to ensure the quality of CFCC's offering.

With a background in computer science and engineering, Surinder has crafted a distinct and efficient process for CFCC to refurbish computers for community donation. With a commitment to technology and CFCC's vision, he continues to contribute to the success of CFCC.

Director of Technology


Contributing to the community has always been an important part of Fabiola’s journey through life. Joining CFCC’s Board in 2018 seemed a natural progression, as she continues to preserve the environment, support education and provide access to technology. Fabiola has been an active supporter of the Society of Reforestation in Haiti and the McGill Young Alumni. She has also been a Board Member of Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Graduates of University of Montreal and the McGill Alumni Association. A member of Québec Bar Association, and Siemens Canada Legal Counsel, her experience and education include Business Development, Negotiating, Marketing, Political Science and eCommerce.



Fahir’s passion for CFCC is boundless. He’s the “Swiss Army Knife” at laptop refurbishment workshops; Fahir can diagnose and treat seemingly any PC ailment. He’s been active in CFCC since 2012. Responsible for distribution, recovery and disposal of PCs at Siemens, he lives each day actively involved in the lifecycle of laptops. Prior to joining Siemens, Fahir was a systems engineer and procurement specialist at IBM in his native Turkey.



Farah Shams joined CFCC in 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in community outreach. She’s been a Community Liaison Officer with the Consulate General of Pakistan. She’s a community partner for the South Asian Heritage Days festival. She’s also been a consultant to Kids CBC for community and diversity. Farah’s commitment to society is firmly rooted in her education and experience. She has degrees in English Literature, Psychology and Philosophy. She has been Strategy and Creative Director for Ethnic Marketing, and she currently sits on the Board of the Canada Pakistan Business Council.
